All in one - one in all - all in all

Truth will probably still be discussed in all imaginable circumstances. It is an open question and before starting a discussion it is wise to free oneself from conditions and conventions. Next question : How do we get rid of conventions and conditions ? Let us make a little detour: (other end of spectrum)

Truth is in itself. It is not to be debated nor to be understood,...

it stands there as a pillar but we are banging into it or walk around it not seeing nor the hight nor the depth of this majestic monument. Truth is a monument like the sphinx,...whether we reach out for it or not it has been there at least in our life time and that of many of our ancestors; the sphinx surrounds us always talking and confirming, answering questions. It is odd in a way that we seem to be looking for something that is there always. When and where have we started looking for the truth. Hardly a child is looking for the truth as there is only one way,...but then an age arises with all the questions of adulthood. That is a phase in which truth becomes dialectic. We seem to have to learn the truth of others - the elder generation - that have already gone the path. That faster our development the more knowledge is brought into the agenda's and the more words are being written down. So the race starts as we think that children should be taught everything...or at least learn as much as we can because that makes life easier. Knowledge is power and that is what the paradigm of our time preaches. Yet knowledge that is passed on to us is often undigested as pills from the pharmacy industry that have not long enough been tested on animals and cause all sorts of side effects that do much more harm than cure. The difficulty is that too many people who have ever roamed this planet and have a legacy are thought to be remembered. Our western logical thinking has this causal relation. As time goes on more people will accumulate knowledge to pass on people who live after them will have to deal with it. Yet knowledge is also a heavy weight if it is propping our minds with unreasonable and maybe unnecessary detail. We are being blocked and we end up being easily conditioned again. That is to say : Our fight for freedom and knowledge has backfired. We think we need all the knowledge to lead a meaningful life; yet in fact the amount of knowledge does not lead to truth for a happier life but mental stress because we will never ever be able anymore to know it all. Yet we are given the illusion that we should know it all. Again,...professors at universities will plead that their personal subject is of the greatest importance and therefore dismissible. And certainly I will plead that the only dismissable subject at universities for everybody to study beforehand is : Philosophy ! If we acquire the love of wisdom then picking the right knowledge will be much easier and we will have a guiding light. To be continued...
